RHYTHM & DRUMS

My percussion classes concentrate primarily on Cuban, Haitian, and African rhythms, both folkloric and popular. Instruction is in hand-drum and drum-set technique, as well as in the playing of bells, clave, chekere, guiro, maracas, and timbales.

Percussionists with some previous experience can join the classes at any time or play with us for Afro-Haitian dance classes.

Class nights and times change and are either in groups for $10/hour or privately for $30/hour.
